NOT impressed!!!!
so I finally decided I'll check out what the IJ-fuss is about, and wonders never seize, I actually managed to get onto the site - it's usually slower as LJ, which is one of the biggest reasons I've never updated or worked on my profile over here.
however. the second reason was that I found it extremely user-unfriendly. I think I now have the hang of most of it, after 2 hours swearing and clicking all the wrong buttons.
the ONE thing I can't for fuck sake's figure out, and is almost a guarantee that I won't ever come here again, is the default grey and orange of my journal - I mean the one that I change my profile on, upload pics from blah-blah, not the one everyone can see, that's fine now.
HOW THE FUCK DO I CHANGE THIS???!!!!!!!!! CAN I change it??? or am I forever and ever going to be squinting at and tilting my screen to try and not go blind by reading invisible orange letters on a fucking grey background???
yeah, I'm definitely going insane, and at the moment not in the good way at all.
FUCK THIS SHIT!!!!
hehehehe... luckily so far it's only those that already love me from LJ that's on my IJ flist, and you guys are used to my ranting and raving and *mwah* love me in spite of it!!!
okay, guys, helphelpHELP with the basics, please!! *goes on knees* which communities do I need to join? but the really important things: ggggggggggggrrrrrrr... how do I cuts and insert usernames with HTML? and how the FUCK do I change the orange-grey thing??
off to happier things. "Thingies" indeed, I'm working on #17 this weekend, almost done. :) YEAH!!
